EXPERIENCE June 1979 to Present Senderex Cargo Inc., Los Angeles CA I have been Accounting Manager since 1988 and Safety Director since 1994. With about year off to travel and have a baby, I have worked for the owners of Senderex since I graduated from high school. I started out as a part-time file clerk. After proving myself, I became a full time employee where learned Accounts Receivable and entered all the transactions manually on a peg board. In 1985, when Senderex got it first micro computer, I helped with the data entry. From there I learned Accounts Payable and Month-end closing and the balancing of general ledger accounts. I also generated payroll using ADP and CBS payroll services.
July 1981 to February 1982 Jack in the Box, Torrance CA I was taught customer service (taking orders) as well as how to cook the food. I did this job on a part time basis while pregnant, on nights when I wasnt going to college at night, and working at Senderex Cargo 40 hours a week.
EDUCATION
American InterContinental University - Los Angeles: April 2002 - present. Attending in the evenings to acquire my BBA.
El Camino College studied Computer Science and Foreign Language for 2 years from September 1979 to January 1982
